| So, Friday night was one of the best nights I've had since I started out on this long journey I refer to as college life... What did you do to make it so wonderful, you may ask? Well, Friday I went with my roommate Rebecca and our friends, Philip, Michael, Joe, and Alex to the High Museum of Art to see the Louvre Atlanta exhibit! We dressed up in pretty dressies and the boys dressed up too and we caravaned downtown for a high society night on the town!! First off, it was funny because we turned the wrong way off the exit and then we got blocked in the turn-around spot by a big, mean semi and then we finally got back on track, only to turn down another wrong road, b/c i was following Phil's bad directions....We finally found where we were going and found a parking deck to park in...it ended up not being the one Phil told us to park at, but it was one nonetheless!! lol So, Joe, Alex and I trekked to find Becca and Phil and meet up with Michael. We found them, got a tickets and then headed through the museum .Becca and me!

It was jazz night, so we enjoyed the music as we looked at some amazingly beautiful, breathtaking, thought-provoking, emotion-ravaging art. We started at the top and worked our way down the different floors. My favorite piece of art was called "Duet" by Adolph Gottlieb. It was absolutely beautiful and interesting; definitely my favorite!
Anyway, then we all headed across the courtyard to the actual Louvre exhibit. It was really nice but more crowded than the other exhibit. People had the little headsets on to listen to the guided tour, but we opted not to do that. So we saw some Rembrandts and some other stuff....way awesome! After we headed back to the other side to get our coats...because get this...we had to check them! I've never been to a place so nice, they had a coat check!! haha Anyway, while Joe and I were waiting for everyone, I decided that I wanted to go back up and try to find the infamous Andy Warhol Marilyn Monroe paintings...so we went in search...to no avail...they had rotated them out to show other things...bummer! So we have to go back another time I suppose!! After the museum, we went to this cute little hole-in-the-wall Mediterranean restaurant called Shipfeifer's. It was cute and quaint, and the food was really yummy!! After eating, we walked down the block to Cafe Intermezzo for coffee and dessert. Nice place, but we got bad service...our waiter was a jerk. Oh well! My coffee was good though...at midnight...that probably wasn't the best idea...lol mmm curly fries...

Then, we headed back up to Kennesaw! And me, Phil and Becca talked in our apartment forever!!! And then when Phil finally left, it was like 7 am! but Becca and I weren't really tired! stupid coffee that should've left our systems hours ago!! lol So, I decided that we needed to stay up til 9 am, b/c then I would've been up for 24 hours officially! I've never done that before!! so, then, I went to bed for about an hour and woke up to drive home. Then, i tried to do homework but I kept falling asleep! haha! Also, I got a part in the play Pizza With Shrimp on Top!! I am very excited!! it's actually a staged reading, so it's not like i['m going to be memorizing lines and blocking and such... But it's gonna be awesome fun! I play Stephanie, the main character's 13 year old sister...what's up with me being type-cast as a little girl??! lol whatever Anyway, I'm pretty psyched about it! If anyone is in the Kennesaw State area on Thursday, it's at 6:45 pm in the Student Center and I'd love for anyone to be able to come!!! But, yeah, that's about it for now! I'm sitting at work waiting to go home! Oh, and Heroes come back tonight! woohoo!!
